Denver Swainson is a native of central Alberta and has been playing guitar since he was just a boy of 12 years. Beyond his artistic ability, Denver is a journeyman electrician, outdoorsman and motorcycle enthusiast. Denver is a twice self-taught musician; he learned the first time without formal training and then again when he removed the better part of two fingers from his fretting hand in 2004. Denver recently announced his engagement to rhythm guitarist Sara Page who has been at his side for more than eight years.
Joe Miller is a well-known humanitarian in Red Deer, Alberta and music has always been a key element in his life. Classically trained in piano and having mentored under Welsh guitar virtuoso, Ian Stewart, Joe’s skills are well honed. He is currently working with bass guitar expert, Curtis Phagoo, and brings a distinct flavor to the Frank’s offering. Joe’s hobbies include recording music, long walks on the beach, talking about his day and listening intently.
Sara Page comes from a musical background. As a child in Red Deer, her mother played classical guitar and her father was a goldmine of information with a music library to match. Like Miller, she received early training from the Welsh legend, Ian Stewart. Sara is an avid reader and die hard Edmonton Oilers fan but finds little time for much else as she is continuing her post-secondary education.
John Page, began drumming as soon as he could see over the kit, and has been a sought after session drummer for many years now. The creativity through tattoo design, graphic arts and getting in touch with his Celtic heritage through archery add to his layers. He shares his love of percussion and his unique, strong style, with his many students. |
